Calling all Floorball Enthusiasts! Join in our 2 day of floorball tournament and fun filled fringe activities.

 

The biggest floorball event in Singapore will be held at Downtown East D’ Marquee.

Online LIVE Fixtures – You can visit the link on your mobile devices/tablets on the event days to check which is the current on-going match.

 

Some important things to note:

  • Please report at least 1 hour before your first game at the registration counter. You are advised to register early to avoid missing your games.
  • Each player must present a copy of the completed Indemnity Form at the registration counter (only if you have not submitted via email or online). For players who are under the age of 18, you must have your parent’s consent and signature on the Indemnity Form. Players will not be allowed to participate and compete in the matches if indemnity forms are not submitted.
  • All players must produce their identity card, student pass or equivalent upon registration at the counter for verification by the Organizing Committee.
  • All teams are to report at the respective courts 5 minutes before your scheduled game. A walkover will be declared if your team is not at the court, or have less than 2 players present.
  • Timings reflected in the fixtures are based on a rough estimation. On the actual event day, a live update on the fixtures and match results can be accessed online via your mobile devices and/or tablets.
  • Event jersey will be given to each participant upon registration on event day. Jersey size subject to availability.
  • Proper sports attire with non-marking shoes are compulsory. Chains and accessories are to be removed prior to your match. Players not properly attired will not be allowed to participate. No refund will be made.
  • Lunch is not provided for participants.

Gift-A-Stick Campaign

 

We want your old sticks! If you have any old sticks which you do not want, please bring them down to the event and donate them at the Gift-a-Stick campaign booth! Your old sticks will be refurbished and given to the less privileged players and beneficiaries.

Note:

*For Mixed Novice teams, team members must not have participated in any major floorball competitions. Competitions would include, but are not limited to, Singapore Floorball Leagues organized by Singapore Floorball Association; ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ Divisions for Boys and Girls; POL-ITE Games; Inter-Varsity-Polytechnic (IVP) Games; Inter-University Floorball Championships. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Organizing Committee will be final. Where it is discovered by the Organizing Committee, that players are not novice players (for Mixed Novice teams), the teams with ineligible members will be disqualified immediately.

- If you are registering for member team, please have the player who is an NTUC/nEbO member to make the online payment.

Terms & Conditions of nEbO Membership (Only applicable for events which includes nEbO membership)

Fee is inclusive of complimentary nEbO membership for eligible non-working individuals aged 12-24 in the following manner:

  1. Eligibility of the players for the membership is subject to verification by the Main Organiser of event (which refers to U Sports) and nEbO
  2. Participants, with incomplete information given, will NOT be entitled to the complimentary nEbO membership.
  3. Applicants are to ensure that all details provided are accurate. An administrative fee of $10 will be imposed for any card replacement due to wrong information provided.
  4. Processing time for nEbO Plus! Card takes 3 – 4 weeks. The card and welcome pack will be mailed to your mailing address.
  5. No refund is allowed after full or partial payment is made.
  6. The 1-year nEbO membership is only applicable to non-working individuals aged 12 – 24.
  7. The 2-year nEbO membership is only applicable to non-working individuals aged 12 – 23.
  8. The 3-year nEbO membership is only applicable to non-working individuals aged 12 – 22.
  9. I understand and agree that by becoming a nEbO member, I also become a member of the PLUS! Programme (“PLUS!”) administered by NTUC Link Private Limited (“NTUC Link”). I agree to abide by the terms and conditions of PLUS! I acknowledge and consent to: -

Pre-Event Learn-To-Play Floorball Clinic!

 

Always wanted to know how to play floorball but don’t know where to start? This is the clinic for you! Join with your friends and learn the fundamentals of floorball such as dribbling, passing and shooting and you may just find yourself hooked to the sport!

 

Date: Saturday, 12 March 2015

Time: 2pm to 4pm

Venue: Valhall Singapore (No. 26 & 28 Jalan Benaan Kapal, Kallang Park , Singapore 399630)

 

Equipment will be provided. Come in sporting attire and sports shoes.

Other Important Information

 

1) Matters regarding the Competition

  • Referees and tournament rules of the competition will be from and governed by Singapore Floorball Association.
  • Please contact the NSA directly in the event of any technical enquiries in regards to the games.
  • Format of play will be updated soon.
  • In the absence of any team in any of the competing rounds, a win or default (walk-over) would be awarded to the other opponent by the end of the grace period.
  • Players shall comply with the instructions and decision of the event organisers and match officials.
  • Any protest must be made on the Official Protest Form on the actual event day. (Request from the registration counter) A non-refundable protest fee of $50 must be paid along with the protest form by the Captain/ Manager. The fee will only be refunded if the protest is valid.
  • Any change/ amendment/ decision would be made at the sole discretion of the organising committee.

 

2) Matters regarding registration and players

For the General categories (U15/ U18/ U21/ Open/ Novice):

  • U15 is for players born in year 2002 & after; U18 is for players born in year 1999 & after; U21 is for players born in year 1996 & after
  • Each player can only be registered for 01 team per category. 
  • Late submission of teams will not be accepted, subject to the final decision of the Organisers (i.e. U Sports)
  • Registration for the competition is only confirmed upon payment (if any) made with team registration form and parent consent (if required) received.
  • Registration is based on first-come-first-served basis and will be closed once maximum number of slots is reached.
  • In order to enjoy NTUC/nEbO member’s team rate – at least 01 player in the team must be NTUC/nEbO member in order for the team to enjoy the NTUC/nEbO member’s team rate. The NTUC/nEbO member must be playing for the team. NTUC/nEbO membership cards are not transferable for the team registration if he/she are not participating in this Tournament.
  • All participants MUST bring along their NRIC/ Passport or NTUC/ nEbO membership card on the day of competition for verification by the Officials before the competition starts.
  • Participants aged 18 & below are required to submit parent consent (can be found along with registration form). Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
  • Registration is non-refundable, in the event of cancellation/ no-show
  • Each category requires a minimum of 8 participating teams to proceed. Organiser (i.e. U Sports) reserves the right to close any categories not meeting the minimum number of teams required.

 

 3) Safety matters

  • Captains/ Managers shall undertake the responsibility of ensuring the health and wellbeing of the players participating in this competition
  • Medics and ambulance will be deployed during event days.
  • Players are advised not to participate if they are feeling unwell. In such cases, please inform the event organiser (i.e. U Sports) and match officials immediately on the days of event.

Q4. What are the criteria for the Mixed Novice category?

A4. There must be at least 1 male player and 1 female player playing on court at any one time.

ALL players must NOT have participated in ANY major floorball competitions. Competitions would include, but are not limited to, Singapore Floorball Leagues organized by Singapore Floorball Association; ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ Divisions for Boys and Girls; POL-ITE Games; Inter-Varsity-Polytechnic (IVP) Games; Inter-University Floorball Championships.
