The participants fought hard on court and had fun off court as well in the various engagement activities planned by the sports leaders from Team U Sports Liitto Floorball. In the spirit of giving back to the community, the Gift-A-Stick campaign was held for the second time this year, encouraging the donation of unwanted and old floorball sticks to be refurbished and given to underprivileged children. 10 used Floorball sticks were collected over the two days.

For the first time, Special Olympics Singapore sent two teams to represent them in the Mixed Novice category, having learnt about the tournament through a couple of Floorball sports leaders who volunteer their time to coach players with intellectual disabilities at Special Olympics Singapore.

There can only be a few podium finishers in the tournament but many of the participants went home contented with their hands filled with prizes and premiums such as vouchers, goodie bags, limited edition T-shirt and much more!
